The renewed tradition. Montesol was born with the idea of making a modern, fresh wine with a very Mediterranean image. A range in which the main varieties of Rueda are expressed and which has the hallmark of the winery.

VERDEJO Y VIURA

FEATURES

  • Elaboration: A perfect blend of the Verdejo and Viura varieties grown on the states control by Vino Sanz on the sunniest plots in La Seca is the recipe for this Montesol Rueda. An honest, elegant white and faitfully reflects the winery's character.
  • Alcoholic grade: 13º
  • Tsting notes: Attractive straw-yellow colour and delicate fruity aromas in the nose. Big, tasty and well-structured palate with excellent long-lasting finish.
  • Gastronomy: Perfect with all kinds of fish-based dishes as well as rice dishes incorporating seafood.
  • Serving temperature: Serve between 8 and 10º C.

VERDEJO

FEATURES

  • Elaboration: The prevailing variety grown is the D.O. Rueda, Verdejo, gives us this magnificient wine. The grapes hail from Vinos Sanz's most outstanding plots in the village of La Seca in Valladolid.
  • Alcoholic grade: 13º
  • Tasting notes: A pale, straw-yellow colour wine with greenish hightlights. Displays clean and delicate aromas with elegant fruity notes and hints of aniseed. Fresh, smooth and very balanced on the palate.
  • Gastronomy: Good with seafood and shellfish, as well as with grilled and salt-baked fish.
  • Serving temperature: Serve between 8 and 10ºC.

SAUVIGNON BLANC

FEATURES

  • Elaboration: This splendid single variety Sauvignon Blanc comes from a selection of grapes that are hand picked. Once the grapes have been meticulously selected in the vineyard, the wine is made in the traditional manner, preserving the wide range of aromas and flavours that are characteristic of this grape variety, so akin to tropical fruit.
  • Alcoholic grade: 13º.
  • Tasting notes: Of a beautiful straw yellow colour, it embodies a strong intense aroma, which is fragant and fruity. On the palate, it is broad, smooth, has a wonderful balance between acidity and alcohol and a persistent finish.
  • Gastronomy: Sublime when accompanied by salted fish, such as sea bream or sea bass, and goes equally well with shellfish.
  • Serving temperature: Serve between 8 and 10ºC.
